a couple of "clr thoughts"

i woke up this morning (always a good start) and saw that the temp was below zero and my thoughts naturally turned to the upcoming CLR. t shirts----we have had them in the past and i guess i always liked the idea. how does everyone feel about t shirts? heres a thought----how about something simple like salty's clr logo. the oval one. large on the back and small on the front pocket with 2015 under it. in a choice of colors. i really think that would be "classy". another idea is a night sail. not all boats would be needed, just enough to handle all of the clr sailors. this of course depends on the weather but the only time we went was on mike and brendas boat "miss b's haven" and it was extremely cool. sailing under the stars----wow

I like the thoughts of both T shirts and sailing under the stars. Looking forward to this event. I hope I can trailer my 23 out there. In any event, I'll be there with some kind of boat...

Both ideas sound great to me.  I love to sail at night and am building a collection of CLR t-shirts, so win-win!
Was considering leaving the battery at home to reduce tow weight, but may just bring it along for the night sail.

Thanks for heading all the festivities up.

Based upon the limited experience of attending only my first (but certainly not my last) CLR, almost all T-shirts will be wet eventually! And do the games ever end? Od do they just continue....heavy stuff for a Saturday morning!

Just a little.
Anybody play acoustic guitar? I play some acoustic drums ie: bongos, congas, djembe and most recently a cahon. I had this weird idea jump into my brain while driving home in the snow about writing a song for CLR 2015: It would be based on Jimmy's "Margaritaville" but Carlyle Lake style. If any of y'all have any input on such a bizarre endeavor, just let me know...might be fun. Who knows: Jimmy himself might be jealous!

Bob, Ginger does ;)
And is very good at it. she needs to practice though, she has been focusing too much on other things other than her hobbies for far too long.

rich plays, john plays, ginger plays and matt is a professional musician-------i cant sing-----and have a guitar (that i had planned on learning how to play). it however is a decoration in the basement i.e. man cave. my point is-----write the song, i will introduce the clr band (r standing for rockers) and the song will be presented at the big awards dinner-----following carls standup of course

Good lord I hope I can go. This band, do we purchase tickets ahead of time? And the standup, although poor in quality, should be part of the ticket!  (I am saying no extra price for that standup act!)
Free booze hopefully during the standup so we can make it through to see the headliner.

Now if only we had Texas Doug, this would really be a class act.
