I was blinded by Allen's anchor year, it was like that scene  from man of La Mancha when you see with clear eyes, and understand that your anchor will never shine like the sun.

Sometimes a dirty anchor, and mild craziness is ok.

ATTENZIONE!
I have secured slips at Southwinds for the following gents on the dates noted. Please review this and reply back for accuracy or to tell me I've screwed up again:

Me, Compac 23, 1 night-Friday July 28
Marty, Compac 16, 1 night-Friday July 28
Allen, Compac Eclipse, 3 nights- July 28, 29, 31.
We'll deal with the costs at a later date as the harbor master was on vacation this week and will return tomorrow. And these can be cancelled with no charge up to the day of the event.

Slight itinerary change, (like we have one!):
On Friday night instead of eating at  Latitudes where the food has reached the lower latitudes in quality, we'll invade the Tiki Bar at the Captains Inn. It's a short stagger back to the boats at Southwinds Marina.
Saturday morning breakfast: It appears from information secretly acquired by non other than secret agent man Kevin, that the Colonial Diner is closed. We'll try to find a breakfast place that hasn't heard of us before so they may let us in the front door. We'd like to get underway as soon as possible so we are advocating an earlier than usual breakfast.
This could be the biggest BBB ever so stay tuned for more!

Mas

Bob,

I am still planning to come. Timing for boating has been a bit rough as of late with much in the air regarding a business move (we have only made it down to our boats twice in the past month and never a weekend) but remain hopeful that I can head up for this event. If so a slip for Mas will be needed Friday night. I will have a better idea by next Tuesday when many decisions will be made that could determine our ability to get away on a weekend. (Don't worry we will be at CBMSG even if just for Saturday's festivities but may have to leave next day early).

Regardless, am looking forward to seeing you guys!

Rick

P.S. even though there is little wind and supposed to be as hot as Hades, am gunna head down today for two or three days so i can remember what they look like!

Rick: I'll call tomorrow and add a slip! I do hope you and Susan (the original Susan) can make it!! I can guarantee you a New Joisey of a time!! And...we always have wind!!

Okay Lesa, Bob and I did a test raft up at Tices Shoal a few days back. Let's hope it's not so windy for the BBB!

Rick: You are reserved!

No one has ever referred to me as RESERVED!

thanx, will remain hopeful, as mentioned weekends have been tough to get away and with CBMSG the following weekend am having to juggle much. That's the way it'll be for a bit but clear calendars are on the horizon!

This is shaping up to be the biggest Bash ever! Obviously we are choosing a deeper water anchorage to accommodate you full keep types- you know who you are!!! :)  I assume there will be some dingys present and you know what that means: Dingy race! Last year I was beat bad by Larry's older daughter so I'm seeking to regain my title as....as....Oh forget the damn title! Just looking for a weekend of fun!
Remember, they ( the state of NJ) now charges to get on the beach at Tice's. If you walk over after 10am, it's gonna cost you 3 clams. Just our way of welcoming tourists!!!

Sounds like fun!!!  However, please remember that as the Czar of the Bash and Kev as Co-czar, we maintain a strict politics free policy at the Bash. Any offenders will be forced to scrub the bottoms of all the attendees boats...with their personal toothbrushes!!! No exceptions!!!

Hmmmm, Czar....  is Czat a rushin collision?
