Yes, there is a ramp. I think it's free for us Compac-o-nauts that weekend but I'll check fer sure!

It looks like an 18 mile sail south for me, probably beating into the wind to get there.
hoping for typical wind to reach all the way home.

By the time we leave, flying jib solo, and holding on, is all effort I can plan on.

I'm a little late to the game, but I think I will bring my CP27 to Tice's for the raft-up.  I have her at Mariner's in Barnagat.  Friday night is probably not in the cards for me.  Bob

Fantastic Bob. We'll be out in about 5 feet of water because a few guys have deeper draft boats. I plan to scout out the area beforehand and find a suitable hole. Looking forward to this epic gathering of Compac-o-nauts!!

Isn't the beach at Tices Shoal closed by the great mound of renown?

This will be of interest to Barnagat Bay boaters.  There will be a meeting on Saturday July 8th at the Silvercloud Harbor Marina ship store at 8:30 AM about the upcoming dredging of Forked River.  I am on Silvercloud's email list and got a notification.  Bob

I just reserved a room for me and the missus at bay harbor motor lodge for Friday, July 28.  Room cost is $129.

I also contacted Sean at Southwinds Marina.  We are planning to bring boat down on Thursday.  We are close enough to dive home and replenish that night and day sail on Friday.  We plan to stay until Tuesday, to poke about in the the lower, southern regions of the bay.

I will owe wife a real vacation in November.
All good.

That reminds me, wife needs to start polishing the anchor to mirror finish.  My Sunday morning shave needs to impress the hot chocks.

HELLO BIANCA!!!  Uh oh...Finbar is polishing his anchor? Sounds like an anchor competition brewing!!!

Finbar Beagle

Bianca is the cute one,but before polishing anchor, I need to chisel through archeological layers of Raritan bay, and scrap off 2 seasons of Barnegat bays finest black gold. May be more efficient to cover with aluminum foil...

Brian, you need to be aware that Allen's anchor is so highly polished that it's rumored he gets the final sheen using jewelers rouge. The reflection of his anchor has been seen from space...deep space. No lie!
Yeah, Bianca and I are gonna get along just fine. I think she (and her 3 sisters) are in my future!!
