OK, I bought my CPYOA burgee as soon as I Bought Galway Terrapin.

I have yet to fly it.

What is proper etiquette?  I do not want to be in financial stress if Bob levies a fine as punishment....

Mast is up, so options are as high as I can reach.

I currently fly US Flag on topping lift.  Was thinking of attaching to backstay.

Sounds like it is going to be a spectacular BBB 11, from what Mas told me was to be the main entertainment event. Enough of these dinghy races. It is rumored that the producers of "Naked and Afraid" are putting Bob23, Rosie O'Donnel, and Chris Christie on a deserted stretch of Long Beach Island to battle to the death! I only hope that it gets recorded from a drone......  No rescue attempts from other Compacters will be permitted. The ultimate winner gets a free six pack of PBR!!! May the best ? win!!!

Now there's a match that will go viral! Please remind them all to bring their $3 beach fee. Though maybe the loser should get the PBR. Jus sayin! Oh wait a minute, you said to the death? Maybe short of death then the PBR will finish them off.  :)

Geez. I leave for a few days to row and return to find you guys running amuck! Oh my God...the thought of Rosie O'Donnell naked makes me afraid!! And Chris Christie? Beware of people with 2 first names.

Trying to get back on task......
So what time we meeting up at the Tiki Bar? Should there be some kind of reservations made?

Trying indeed!
Yes, we should make some reservations. Time? I'm thinking not too early, not too late- does 6:30 ish sound just right?
In other more pressing news- the weather forecast for Saturday has deteriorated since last night. Friday night could be wet but we could retreat to the Captains Inn itself or another inside venue. More disturbing is Saturday afternoon forecast with rain and NE winds. Hmm. Translated into English that doesn't sound too comfy.
We'll keep an eye on this...it could change drastically and I'm sure Kev will weigh in who is our local weather meister!

I plan on still coming in on Thursday morning.  The weather looks good for sailing Thursday afternoon, Friday morning and on Sunday.  Saturday may be spent in the Tiki Bar.......

Fingers crossed that the weather forecast improves. Maybe Saturday turns into a sail day with overnight back in port.
If the weather doesn't work out there are a couple of other places to check out as well: The Cove Bar & Grill and Martell's Waterfront Tiki Bar all just a short drive north along the bay.

The ECMWF is still slamming us noon Sat through noon Sun. :/

A northeast wind is not a bad wind to lie at anchor at Tice's. Pretty protected by the Island.

Wish I had that wind tomorrow, for the sail south...
