Yup there is! Our gratitude and a beer! 

As far as buying them all...I think we have done a marvelous job in a little over two years since returning to sailing buying boats! It's now my task to help others buy boats. The new owners of 'Miracle' the Flicka are sill wondering what happened! There's a 16 out there for you somewhere, maybe even hull number 1270.

Alrighty, up after one heck of a storm came through. Just finished getting our 16 back to the bay and rigged. It reminded me to repost on this thread as many 16's have been discussed and ya never know that first one that taught us sailing decades ago, #1270,  is out there somewhere! She been found yet?! Last seen in Charlottesville when we sold her in 1991. Attached a picture of us and our little boat sailing somewhere on the Chesapeake a buzzilion years ago. We bought her in Florida and were clueless we needed to register her here in Virginia, thus the Florida registration number.

Well since many new folks on this forum with CP 16's now in their lives, though it would be time to revive, yet again, our posts searching for our first 16. Check those hull numbers folks as we still hope to find where our little boat that we put up for adoption soon pushing 30 years ago may be. Her hull number is on the sail.
