Bob,  I just noticed they are now following you on Twitter!  What an honor this must be.  All those years of hard work have paid off!

Two of my heros.  Kinda scary that I knew who you were referring to before the pic.

Guess that's why I like you buddy.

Hate to say this but it looks like our first CLR (last year) will be our last.  Linda and I were fortunate enough to find a great place in Punta Gorda FL. on a canal just off Charlotte Harbor this past October.  We plan on taking the Horizon Cat down there on April 26th (our 35th wedding anniversary!).  We are really going to miss all the great people we met at last year's CLR and are looking forward to seeing pictures and hearing stories about this year's.  We certainly WONT miss the muddy water and flying carp on the Illinois River here in Peoria!  Anyone reading this with a trailerable boat in the Midwest should really consider making the journey to Carlyle Lake for the CLR; you won't be disappointed!

Hey Subsailor,

Brenda and I will be cruising Charlotte Harbor and staying at a friend's Punta Gorda canal slip during May of this year.  Give us a shout if you want to have a cocktail or go for a sail.  We also might end up staying at Fisherman's Village Yacht Basin during the hurricane season.

Bob: I will miss you and Linda and your Horizon Cat. Thanks for letting me crew with you last year. And...if you do meet up with Mike and Brenda, don't believe any of those far fetched tales he may tell about me. Lies, lies...all lies!!!!
Mike: Where will you be in the middle of April? You can run, but you cannot hide!!! Hahahaha!!!

"Second Wind" (Suncat) along with Chris will be coming.  I may not make it for the entire week because I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not retired anymore.  I may come down the weekend before the event and stay through the middle of the week or arrive in the middle of the week and go home the following Sunday.  At least that is what I'm thinking.

ive got you down buddy. im hoping for about 20 sailors and a dozen boats

bad news clr sailors, Mike and Becky cant make it this year and it might be hard for Mike and Brenda as well. Here's a list of confirmed sailors:  Dan,Bob, Carl and Joan, Tim, Rich, John, Matt, Chris, Roger and Sarah and I. If any of you guys are bringing a crew let me know. looks like we will have 4 cp16s, 3 suncats, a cp19 and our Catalina 18. we will miss those who cant make it and soldier on.

So sorry to hear that Mike and Becky can't make it. And the same for Mike and Brenda. Along with my extortion business I also run a small side business kidnapping. No threats...rather just a  friendly reminder to the potential abscentees. If you see my cousins Rocko, Vinnie and Guido hanging around your house (or boat) just before the CLR, you might just want to go with them. They're not used to hearing the word "no".

Sorry to be late to the party, but when is the party (and exactly where)?  I might be able to make it, but would need to check dates.
