Ladies and gents:
In stark contrast to my former procrastinative ways, I would like to get a jump on the BBB 2016 and propose a date: Or at least get the ball rolling. Not having any clue about anyone else's schedule or plans, I hereby propose that we plan this epic event to be held on the last full weekend in June in the year of our Lord two thousand and sixteen.  The translates out to Friday June 24th through Sunday June 26th. Or something like that.
If you are new to this and are unfamiliar with the Barnegat Bay Bash, you can do a search and learn all about this one of a kind event. So, how 'bout it? The date is super adjustable and because this is a small gathering, we are able to set the date to accommodate the most amount of people. So let's keep the ball rolling.
I'm sure that some of you are wondering if this is really Bob23 writing, considering I'm such a procrastinator. Today was the date of the 4th Annual Mid Winter Gathering of the East Coast Compac-o-nauts and it came up in discussion so I thought I'd post before I forgot all about it.
For the cause,

Aaarg! Sounds like a plan! I plan to be there.  Will we be debarking from Forked River again?

Who knows? Ya know how hard it was to arrive at a date? The marina at Southwinds is probably quite full in June but I'll do some asking around when the date gets closer. We'll come up with a plan!

Unfortunately, that weekend Cathay and I will be in Florida, likely sweating profusely that time of the year!

Remember Mike: The date is not cast in concrete yet. I'm just trying to get a jump on things contrary to last year. Hope you can make it.
