Looking forward to this stellar event. Not sure if the Admiral will attend so I may be sailing solo. Not sure if I'll arrive by Porsche or the Tundra with the intrepid guideboat Straggler strapped down to the racks. Probably by Porsche-so much more fun to drive!! In any event, should be a fun time and should Commodore Kev arrive, we must assign him the task of doing the video coverage of this event!
Rick- the only way I'll ever get a 16 is by NJ style- steal one and alter the numbers!
Ciao!

Hmmm....should i be putting a lock on the trailer of our's?!!!

Little worried about Kevin and Lesa, me thinks they have slipped their lines and disappeared south.....ya never know! The owner of Black Swan headed south, sold her and now has a Cabo Rico 56! Yikes, you would need a map of the interior to find your way out. What does this teach us......don't head south!

Me thinks they're travelling down but I can't speak fer sure. I will be sailing solo so probably arriving via 1993 Porsche 911cw. Very rare....very fast.

I agree, i have seen that car. One of the rarest of the rare! Most folks wouldn't even recognize it as a Porsche.

It would not be a gathering without them, who would record that it even happened! We barely can remember what happened the next day.

I have asked my old neighbor if he wants to take Phyllis's place.
He has a trailer he's fixing up at a campground near the bridge.

Is it ok if he attends?

Of course my friend! Now just to clarify, is the "old" referring to his age or tenure as your neighbor!!!  :)

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Lesa and I will have to cancel our trip south for this grandiose gathering. :(
As is often the case in life, plans need to be altered. We will regroup and take a trip south come springtime!

Have a great time!

Oh just sneak out without Lesa and hide in Bob's Porsche! We'll swear that you had gone over to visit about something and he wouldn't let ya out till you found yourself here! It's what friends are for!

Why don't we reschedule, weather is forecasted to be really crappy. Still planning on attending, but concerned about the weather.

Have been watching this as well Tim. It seemed to change almost every day. The easiest reschedule is to move it to Sunday as weather is looking better. Anything outside of a couple days will bring yet again the potential for "crappy" weather. It is a mid winter gathering!!!

Wuddathink folks? Move to Sunday if forecast holds? Would like to wait till closer (48 hours) before making the call as the forecast has been so changeable.

I'm flexible on rescheduling—.
Might be best to wait a week or two
So those with a long trek can spend
Saturday night.

I'd like to take the wait 48 hours tack and then decide. The Porsche is all ready for an early Saturday morning departure but let's see how the weather is. A Sunday would not work for me as I need to report back to my parole officer first thing Monday morning. Waiting a week or two sounds ok except what if the weather doesn't cooperate then?
