So are we talking about a Charlottesville Brewery Music Wine Gathering?

Where in the world is Charlottesville?

Tim Gardner

Used to be the geographic center of Virginia before the Civil War.  Now it's the center of the college basketball world.
only two hours away from Virginia's largest lake, Smith Mountain Lake, the Jewel of the Blue Ridge.
It's a hike for the Straggler.

It's already a 6 hour drive to Pedroville...and that's by Porsche with no Straggler in tow. I'll pass on Charlottesville, thank you.

It's no further to C'ville than to Pedroville.  Just SW out of Washington rather than due south

It is the center of the known universe! It is almost the exact same drive time for you to Charlotteasville as to Regent Point Marina. Maybe time to actually see the center of the known universe. Again a disclaimer about no hope for any temperance secondary to the literally dozens of breweries, wineries and distilleries there. You would have to visit for a month to visit all of them within a 30 minute drive from our home. (assuming you would actually be sampling the offerings!) Heck we run tap beers at home and have a brewery on site. Have included a little photo of the fermentation room in our modest brewery here.

Jius saying......might be a fun trip!   :)

It's biblical...you know "he leadith me by distilled waters...."  :)

Hmm... I have numerous translations of the Scriptures but none of them read like that. Must be a Virginny thing!

Yeah it is a Southern thing. It is a fact that many places in The Commonwealth of Virginia actually were opposed to the repeal of prohibition mostly cuz they had a good thing going and didn't want VABC as competition. There are many 'still" in operation, and having sampled many, can honestly say most have it down pat!

Our little brewery, run by our son, is due to move soon as we are out of production room. Trust me the interior designer that was responsible for the "look" in the pic will be back at it for it's next incarnation! As the rest of the scripture says ......."he restoreth my soul." So you could come lie in our green pastures, hang with our distilled water but you're on your own with how restored you may feel.  :)

Meanwhile the Sock Burning party may have just been preempted as some fine folks that we have played with as well and love their genre and music are coming to the Jeff for a special St. Paddies Day show. We will certainly be in attendance. It is a great venue, great music, great reason to celebrate....heck you could stay right on the downtown mall in Charlottesville and walk to Breweries, listen to great Music, sample local Wine and Gather with friends at some incredible restaurants.

Jus sayin......

Hey Wayne, thanks for the compliment! We are sooooo ready for the brewery to move as it is bursting at the seams and frankly I want my space back for next incarnations. The real important part is the "dispensary" which will remain long after the production facilities are gone to a much larger but still close by location. Nothing is final till the ink dries but we now have the land for it under contract. Then comes the fun part of building and equipping a new and larger brewery. Kinda scary but also exciting. We can then focus here at our home (where it currently exists) upon some small batch (one barrel) craft brews just for fun, well for consumption as well. Then again.......the whole thing could fall apart tomorrow, so staying hopeful.

Attached a pic of the "dispensary" that has been dispensing since 1992!  :)

Helps explain some our our Dain Bramage!
