Kevin & Lesa....The Empty Nest Sailing Crew!

PS. On a side note: Rick, I begun researching a sail across the pond for when we get that PSC. I'm thinking the southern route, no icebergs! :D

Also can linger in the Caribbean for a good while before crossing! I'm working that Flicka for Bob inna couple weeks as her owner invited us to a Sock Burning party down near our boat. We need to promise to keep it under wraps during the gathering, or at least speaking in tongues, as Linda will be present and don't wish to be witness to a Bobacide!

Ok, we have a little issue. On March 11th, Maggies is hosting their annual St. Maggies day fest and are taking no reservations. Angelo (irish name?) said we should have no problem getting in and I did mention we would have  12 people coming from a good distance and that at least one of the crew if he doesn't get his PBR has been known to fly into an uncontrollable rage! He wasn't swayed.
I may call again to try and get someone more sympathetic to our cause.
That's all for now, folks!

Hmmm...they clearly are not Irish nor have a clue as to the date for St. Paddies Day! Someone ought to fill them in!

Keep us posted.

Interesting turn of events??   We purchased our beloved Madame Z on St. Patrick's Day.  So what does St. Maggie's Day have to do with that?   Probably nothing but anyway Suzie and I will be coming in on Friday and staying through Sunday.  This is our Valentines Day getaway so we will take in some of the local culture during our stay.  Keep us posted about Maggie's, Bob.

It's been a busy last couple of days so I'll call Maggies tomorrow to plead my case. In any event, I say we stick to our original plans to descend upon Maggies next Saturday at 1300 hrs local time. I'm looking forward to this event but I still don't have a definite total head count. So weigh in there, mates and let's let the good times roll!

Well think i may have just finished my last few days on the snow and it's now time to weigh the anchor on sailing season. Was looking at the weather for this coming Saturday, which of course is many days away, but thought it might be prove useful when ya call them again to ask how not having any outdoors area available if it rains will affect indoor accommodations given the crowd they are expecting. Rain sure doesn't bother me as water dries clear!

This is making any Lent considerations with alcohol almost impossible! We always have "relented" for St. Paddies day but St.Maggies!?   :)

Mates:
Today is the 8th. We meet in 3 days on the 11th. So far using my rudimentary mathematical skills, I have the following!
The Admiral and I
Kev and Lesa
Allen and Suzie
Maybe Rick but no Susan
Maybe Wayne but seems like not.
No word from Marty so I'll call him tomorrow.
I forget if Matt is coming...whatcha say, Matt? Yay or nay
Reighman??

Eagleye

Good job, Bob.
Yes it has been a while since Marty has posted?
Hope he is doing ok?

Aye, matey's. Am alive and well, although the Admiral is dealing with some minor stomach issues. In any event, one or both of us will be happy to celebrate Maggie's Day with the motley crew of BBB survivors. See ya soon!

Marty

P.S. Once again, I can walk (almost) to the gathering. Ha!

Hey guys...  we will be there in spirit...  still in Colorado - enjoying deep blue sky and moderate temps at the moment.  Have a wonderful time - if any of you get the notion that the summer of 2017 would be a great time to visit Maine ( which it would be :)  )   get in touch.. we would love to have you join us for a campfire at Mount Desert Campground - just outside of Bar Harbor and  Acadia National Park.
