MID WINTER GATHERING 2023

AHOY MATES! I'm planning on hosting another MidWinter Gathering this January. For those who don't know, the Mid Winter Gatherings were conceived by the Barnegat Bay Bashers as as way keep the sailing flame alive. Due to that damned covid and other reasons, the Bash has ceased to be but I thought that we could put together another gathering after the holidays.

Sign up mates! Space is limited and our operators are standing by. The venue will probably be somewhere in Ocean County, NJ where some of the aforementioned Bashers still live although some have retreated south and north.

Suzie and I are very much interested.  It would be great to see Ya'll again, and swap lies ...er... stories.  Is the Hotel LBI still above the waterline?  Our schedule is pretty much flexible, but Suzie says, "pick a warm day with no snow".

Attenzione all Bashers past, present and future!

  I am proposing that the Mid Winter Gathering 2023 be set for Saturday February 4th in the year of our Lord two hundred and twenty three. The actual location is yet to be decided but it'll be in the Ocean County, NJ area and will consist of dinner somewhere where the news of our notorious reputation has not reached.

  So what say ye merry mates? Will you sign on to this voyage?
