Ok my gut feeling is unless unsafe weather, which clearly means reschedule, we not worry bout some cold dreary weather and focus on warm food, non dreary friends and cold beverages instead! At least at present the rain is not supposed to begin till evening then clear overnight with sun to great us next morning.

We just have to worry about being thrown out into the cold if we get too rowdy! I'm planning on making a weekend out of it and next day is looking good to have a leisurely morning and recover for a splendid trip home with the CBMNSG 3.0 plans already decided! (it is one of the tasks we all must accomplish!) Bob we both are getting on top of this is planning thing! The beauty of the CBG's is that they are not dependent upon weather as they are land based, though Bob did bing a boat to last year's CBMWG 2.0! Can't wait to see which craft he brings this year.  :)

This makes sense to me Rick so let's go for it! I have a nice set of foulies. I was going to bring the intrepid rowing vessel "Straggler" but instead me thinks I'll bring the same luxury catamaran that I brought last year the seaworthy "Julia Catherine". There is a story about this yacht, some of it may even be true...or close to it.
Cheers, mates! Are we not sailors??

.....and we need to celebrate PeterG's (aka Pedro) return to sailing! He will be coming as well.

Debatin'. I'm just recovering from being sick...the Admiral has come down with something a few days ago...weather not looking the greatest. I'll relook at everything tonight and decide. Just not sure how wise or fair it is to leave the Admiral alone coughing her head off while I over indulge in fun, food and booze. I was hoping the weather forecast would improve by now but it seems to have stayed the same. Damn!

Vicki and I have decided to not make the trek to Gloucester (home of my Gloucester Mutineer) and the CBMWG this weekend.  Forecast for snow locally Fri night and Sat am will keep me hard at work on my Bathroom remodel project at home.

Looking forward to a later date, Hmmmm?

I'm flexible on re-scheduling to a later date.  Maybe all (Kevin, PBRBob and Tim) could attend in a few weeks?

I am still heading down to boat as have scheduled some work that must occur before a new fuel tank goes in. Plus someone has to party with Pedro! Had generally planned to do this on the CBMWG date as prob won't be back to boat again till spring. Good chance that we will need to reschedule next winter but will look at opportunities. There is a Sock Burning Party happening on 3/17 that we are pondering going to. Might be a possibility for a reschedule and thus venue change, it is a free event for customers and friends so would need to see if others can be invited not unlike the mid summer event. Beer, music, oysters, seafood, and of course sailors burning socks! Stand upwind of the fire. Will advise.

Hope that remodel project goes well Tim, Bob hope the admiral recovers as there is a lot out there this year in illness. Wayne sure we may see you a some point. Happy trials till we meet again!

March 17 sounds good to me at Regents Point Marina.

Oh nice!!! Go ahead and cancel on us...what a wimp!!! ;)
Good call, Rick and I'll pencil in March 17th as well. The admiral is slowly on the mends but still has a long way to go. Personally, I don't think she drinks enough and that is affecting her adversely. I play it safe with all this illness going around and I'm sipping on tea with Rum as we speak.
Looking forward to seeing all of you!! Whenever...and wherever!
In other news, I dropped my sails off to be tended to and what didn't my eyes happen to see? A pretty little Flicka still in the water with a beautiful teak deck. And radar...she looks like a traveler. Not for sale but I'll keep looking!

Errr, March 17 is Saint Patrick's day, one of sober prayer and devotion for us celts.

Aha! I knew it was a national holiday!

The week before, or the week after is good for Vicki and I, but the 17th? Nope! I play a Bobbie at Resurrection Parish' annual St Patty's day bash putting folks in jail for trumped up reasons and extorting "bail" for charity (kinda like Bob23, but with better intentions).

Beautiful sunrise occurring now! Know forecast is calling for rain later but right now the water is shimmering. ????

Ok all before anyone starts marking calendars we will need to see if the folks doing the sock burning party will be cool with bringing lots of folks. It is put on by the local sail loft here not the marina. Plus as noticed it is St. Paddies day. Right now all I can guarantee is that Pedro and I will be having lunch today at Merrior and sometime next winter we will try again!

In the interim there is CBMSG on 8/4/18!

El Ricko: how about March 3rd or 10th? There seems to be a conflict with St. Paddy and heck, we don't need no stinkin' sock burn to have fun! Just a suggestion...weigh in there mates, will ya?
And yes, weather here right now is spectacular as I sit inside on this 28 degree morning.
