I am on the fence on the Annapolis Boat show.  Anyone else thinking of it?

I'm also on the fence about Annapolis. If I go, it'd be on Saturday. But...not on the fence about CBMWG version 2.0! I'll stay tuned...
Bob23...I can taste the Guinness now!

Lesa and I are definately headed to the boat show, making a weekend of it. :)

Ah Kevin, a dangerous endeavor for a someone who has announced the desire for another boat! Fun town but gunna be crazy busy as in addition to the boat show it is a home football game weekend for the Naval Academy. Leave your checkbook at home though, have fun!

Keep us posted on the boat search. Recently added CP27 up your neck of the woods.

I saw this 27 but dang it, the 23  is such a pretty boat!

Mas

Agreed! So good under sail as well. We all owe many thanks to Clarkie for his timeless and capable designs.  :)

Wading ashore for lunch yesterday reminded me that CBMWG 2.0 is coming. The water temp has dropped onto the upper 60's. What a great stretch of weather this week.

Congrats to Kevin for his new to him Alberg if all goes well. Sheeze it was tough enough trying to find a 16 for me, now i gotta find two more. Bob and Kevin. It's where all of this Compac stuff got started!

Stay tuned........

I'll  be keeping a close eye on this event. I don't need much of excuse to enjoy a few cold ones with some like minded, slightly left of center sailors! I also am excited about Kev finding a new and larger sailboat. Lord knows he's looked far and wide and has the most patient and supportive wife this side of the moon!
Maybe we should start naming these events, like the way hurricanes are named. Any suggestions???  :)
Bob23...in need of a Guinness!!! Bad!!!

Which Alberg is Kevin trying to get?

Be sure to check out the Alberg site as there is a lot of information out there on them.

A Cape Dory 26. Very active CDYOA. We just gotta convince him he needs a CP16 as well for those road trips and days when just the act of sailing is what ya need!

As far as this topic goes.......was thinking bout Willabys in White Stone. Kinda central to the bay, water side, good menu, great draft selection.  http://www.willabys.com/cafe/index.htm

Might even be able to talk Pedro into bringing his tug since the rest of us will prob be done with the sailing thing.. :)

Just Susan.......oh you mean when?

Was kinda thinkin mid winterish, thus CBMWG! Holidays are always too full, so Januaryish. Know there is also a broader gathering about the same time so wish to be mindful of such and hopefully get there this year! So how about same time as last year? Wish I could remember when that was. Just remember a good time.  :)

You been getting out with this spectacular stretch of weather? Had a nice evening with Pedro and Becky last weekend. They had been up to Corrotoman.

Yeah, numerical kind of dates. Got out into the bay on Sunday to witness the full moon rising. Fantastic! I love being on the water in the dark.
Yeah...now I got the MW part. Maybe you guys can plan to arrive up here for the 5th Annual Mid Winter Gathering of the East Coast Compac-o-nauts. Stay tuned!!!

Susan and I were up on Interlude's foredeck watching that same moon rise. You're right, it was spectacular.

Well it appears we had CBMWG 1.0 on January 30, a Saturday afternoon. The closest Saturday to that this year would be 1/28/17. Let it be written as so to start the discussion!
