Hello became an owner of a Picnic Cat three weeks ago and just realized there is an Association for Com-Pac owners.  Happy to know we are now part of this special group.  Not new to sailing, we had a Ray Greene Rascal back in the 80's.  Sailed her for about 12 years and changed over to power boating.  Started looking for a replacement Rascal a few years ago and last year saw the Picnic Cat for the first time.  Our Rascal was a 14 foot sloop.  The Picnic Cat was same size with easier rigging.  Didn't buy that first Picnic Cat, we should have it was perfect.  This summer started looking again, not much close to home in southeast Michigan.  We found this sailboat in northern Michigan and took her out in Lake Huron off of Rogers City during festival weekend.  She is now back in Brighton getting cleaned up and checked over.  Looking for other Com-pac sailors in the area.  Looking forward to many fun sailing ventures ahead.
