New registration requests-Why am I not receiving a confirmation??

A message to those who have registered for access to this site, but have not yet been able to login. 

After registering for the forum, you should receive an email with a "click here" link to activate your registration.  This email may take hours or days to arrive as we review each applicant manually to filter out spammers, and may not look at the requests on a daily basis.  This activation confirmation email may "look" like a spam email, and could be filtered out on your email client or email service. 

If you have not yet received this activation confirmation email after several days, please check your "junk" or "spam" folder, be it online on the spam service (perhaps your ISP's webmail)  or on your computer for the activation email.    It is uncommon that they are not sent, but common they were actually delivered, but filtered out.    If you register from your workplace and cannot access your spam email folder at all, please re-register with your home email address. 

In the event you are a known spammer, you will not be sent this email to confirm, will likely be blocked in the future, and are unwelcome on this forum.
