I have a pretty substantial leak in one of my side ports on a 2007 Eclipse.  I will remove it but would like some information first:  Is there a gasket or does the seal come from caulk?  However it seals, it is really blown.  We had two very substantial storms with wind and water out of the NW that hit the port side of my boat.  Water leaked in through the port, totally soaked the quarter berth cushion and drained into the compartment (1/2 gal or so).  With as much water as we had, I was impressed that only the cushion is inside the house drying in the laundry room.  There was a very slight seepage under the genoa track - easily taken care of.  Looks like next Wed sailing will turn into maintenance.  Thanks in advance.   Al
