Very windy, Charlie! I actually went out with a couple guys from Blackbeard on an Erwin 10-4; winds were ne, 15 give or take, and we had a blast!

Came out of Upper Broad Creek with wind behind us, and then jibed to go downriver a bit, then tacked and went upriver to nearly Duck Creek, and then on back down and into the club marina. Took a nice couple of hours, and it was interesting tacking back upwind, which went very well also.

I'll try to be back down weekend after this; the Blue Angels will have a show at Cherry point, and we might have a raftup if you can join in.

I just looked at the sailing track, and we weren't as close to Duck Creek as I thought. It was actually about 1/3 ofway from NW Creek to the bridge, across from a place called Bay Point.

Experimenting with the tracking by an app called Skipper. I like it because it shows the map on the chart, as opposed to just a tracing in blank water like the previous app I tried. If I felt like it, I could have taken photos along the way and added them to the file.
