Hello and Happy Birthday to my good friend Bob.  Bob is the goofy looking guy in this picture.  Oops, sorry that didn't clear things up much. Bob is the goofy looking guy on the left.

You guys are the best!!! On the afternoon before my 93rd birthday, I did what most of you would want to be doing: Bottom painting the yacht, 2nd coat on the bootstripe, and after it was all done, sat down in my 100 plus year old Adirondack chair with a nice cold PBR!
Seriously, (yes it does happen occasionally) the friends I've met here and in person at the CLR are the salt of the earth. I always wondered what that meant: maybe that you are as old as the salt of the earth. Hahaha!!!
Upon looking closely at that photo, you'd think I was at work! Phone in side pocket, hands in main pocket, bewildered look on face.
Love all you guys...can't wait for CLR 2016!!!! Thanks for the surprise! And Mr. Greene: The first PBR is on me!

Happy birthday as well my friend! I don't mind being called the salt of the earth, especially as we get as old as dirt. Now that i am in my 40's (well they say the 60's are the new forties right?) I have wondered what it would feel like to be grown up......well ...not gunna happen! I suspect Bob you may share this sentiment (as opposed to sediment. (it's that salt reference again).

Looking forward to the next time our paths cross. Maybe a Tangier briefing is in order down at Merrior in Peter's and my neck of the bay. They do have PBR in bottles but truly an extensive craft draft selection should keep you from resorting to that!

Thank, Rick. Hmmm...extensive craft draft. Now you got my attention! Promise not to drink the last one!!!  hahaha. Looking forward to emptying a few glasses with you! A Tangier briefing sounds like it's in order!!!

I'm at a loss for words to describe my delight of being last once again. CLR - ly a true skill-set.
Salt of the earth means OLDER than dirt.  Happy birthday

So Tim, last time you were here you were sans boat. Imma thinking that you otta bring one of those craft for a Tangier trip come May, which means you will need to come to a Tangier drinking, err i mean briefing as well. :)

Thank you all!!! I'm a blessed man for sure. And to think this was started by the honorable and most esteemable  Capt. Greene. We became good friends before we ever met in person by our mutual busting and ribbing here. To all of you, I raise my glass of Milagro Tequila in your honor. Well, maybe not at 3:54 am, est.
