Painting of my boat...it's done!

A friend of mine is a local artist and sailor.  I posted some pictures here that he took earlier this year while sailing on his Islander 44.  I have always wanted him to paint a picture of one of my boats, but never had a good picture to have him to go off of.  Now he is painting one of my new HDC!  He sent me a early version of the painting which is just amazing:

I'll post a pic of the final painting here...I think he has a ways to go.  He has a very impressionistic style that I like.  He always has a booth at the Chicago Strictly Sail show and has a lot of sailing paintings there for sale.
