Hi all, I will be selling my 1981 CP-23 in S. Florida.  Here are photos:

I had the bottom redone after I bought it in 2003 - sanded down all over and new gelcoat applied.  Since then it's been kept on the trailer so no bottom paint.

The main is about a year old, running rigging is about the same.  Has a new tiller and a new companionway hatch.  Standing rigging is original as is the genoa (110 I think).

Has a new compass but now it needs the cockpit speakers replaced with some that are magnetically shielded.  I'm puzzled as to why the old compass worked - maybe the previous owner somehow put compensating magnets in?

We had the outboard stolen a couple of months ago so no outboard comes with.  It had an 8 HP Tohatsu just for info purposes.

One issue that developed recently is a soft spot in the hull (starboard side) due apparently to the trailer runners being set too high and eventually managing to win the pushing contest with the hull.

A few other minor issues that need attention like one lifeline stanchion having been broken off where it enters the base and also the bow pulpit railing breaking on one side.  Both of these can probably be fixed by cutting off and re-riveting or putting a bolt through.

The trailer is included.  It's got two tires that are < 2 years old and the other two are < 5 years.  New trailer winch.  Bearings replaced a couple of years ago.

I've listed it for $2,200 on Craigslist but am very flexible on price.  We had some great years of enjoyment, got our money's worth and then some, and now I'm more interested in passing it along to someone who will use and care for it than in what I might get back.  So by all means let me know if anyone is interested.

Best regards,
Gregg
