I have the motor locked in straight forward and steer with the rudder.  Also, I don't use the engine tiller.  Instead I use the remote throttle.

Cool Rob.  I like that the read-out gives distance at a specific power.  Questions:  Are you using an internal battery or external?  Do you have power at your slip so you can re-charge or do you take the battery home?  Good video.  Always good to see how something works and it does work....

Al,
There is a battery attached to the top of the motor.  The motor weighs 20#s and the battery weighs 10#s.  I take the battery home in its carrying case, and charge it at home.  I do have power at the slip, but it's easier to bring it home.  It came wth a regular and a quick charger.
