I have a 1995 CP19 trailer for sale.  It has only seen salt water a couple of times, mostly fresh water.  It has good tires, buddy bearings and lights work.  The bunks are OK but cold stand recovering; bunk material is beginning to show wood on the sides in places.  Fenders are solid. Very minor rust.  Spare tire is included, although might work for short distance, for longer hauling I'd replace it.  I know a new trailer will run around $2500 or more.  I really don't know what this trailer is worth; I towed the CP19 from Canyon Lake TX to Shalimar FL about two months ago, a distance of nearly 800 miles without a problem.  I was towing at 60-65mph.  I'm open to any reasonable offers around the $600to $700 price range. Reason for selling is I don't have a vehicle large enough to tow the CP19, plus we have the boat in a local marina where it will remain until we eventually sell the boat.  The cost for storage and upgrading the tires would cost nearly what a new trailer would run.  I'd rather sell the trailer now and purchase a new trailer when I get ready to sell the boat, which should enhance the resale value of the boat, particularly if the new owners are going to trailer the boat vice keeping it in a slip.  Early thanks for your interest...John

just my two cents. i would really think twice about selling your boat trailer. when you do eventually sell your boat it may be difficult without the trailer. these boats are trailer sailors after all.

I hear you loud and clear.  However, I hope to keep this boat for a good long time, at least 4-5 years.  I have to pay to store the trailer, $50 a month.  That's $2400 in four years or $3000 in five years, money I could use to buy a new trailer if needed.  Plus in our area(Shalimar Florida)the Choctawhatchee bay is tailor made for this size boat.  Having it in a marina enhances using it more often vice trailering it, paying storage, and all the work to rig, launch and retrieve, then put it back on the trialer, back to the storage lot.  If I let the trailer sit for 4-5 years it will need a major refit to bring it back to a road worth state. This means spending money on getting it road worthy in addition to paying the storage fees...from my perspective, your two cents is appreciated, but from a practical point of view, the trailer needs to go.  I'll get about half what a new trailer will cost, and the savings from not having to store a trailer will more than make up the difference even if I purchase a new trailer to enhance the sale....my two and a half sense....thanks for your honesty....John
