Peter was active with sailing in the Com-pac club in the 90s. He lived in New Bern, and last few years had a Holman 20. He was fairly active until a couple of years ago. Peter was a fn guy to talk to about sailing, or anything really. I'll miss his sparkling British wit.

Thought some of you old timers and NB residents might want to know. I don't have the funeral arrangements, but will post them if and when I do.

Sorry to hear about that Bruce. Peter was a real gentleman. Best I remember, he was dockmaster years ago when I was active there at the club. He will be missed!

Yes, he was dockmaster; that was before my time. He told me about it, laughing that it was a bad deal if you live next door to the club because people would call him and ask him to walk over and check their lines. He was laughing as he said that. Great guy.

Of course I never knew Peter, however, using the Com-Pac owners that I know as a barometer, Peter must have been a good guy. I'm sure he'll be missed. My condolences to his family.
