Charlie, we didn't get close enough to chat, but I was on that Cal 29 with some friends from Blackbeard day before yesterday when we sailed along together for awhile. Your boat was looking good!

Hey Bruce:
Thanks for the note.  I was wondering who called out.  I didn't have my prescription glasses and did not want to use the 7X50's .  The Cal looked good too.  I was sailing with Marc Duggins and Bettie CPYOA folks from south of Wilmington (Wildcat).

What a great day for sailing it was!

I'll work on getting back down to sail again soon. Will try to coordinate better (at all would be better, huh) and see what we can get up to.

I just want to say that Charlie D is one hell of a nice guy. Bettie and I so appreciate his hospitality on the Neuse. He was kind enough to give me the helm of his C 27. I've never sailed a C27 before, but it is one nice lady. I hope that I can own one some day.
I guess that was you, Bruce, who sailed past us. Nice boat, that Cal.  Good performance.
