Christmas is a wonderful time of year.  Best yet is the family member who leaves West Marine stuff and gift cards in the stocking!!!!!

I hope that someone on this board gets a Christmas Sail and a New Years sail in so others can live vicariously.

Merry Christmas to all here!  Hope Santa brings plenty of sailing goodies for Christmas.

Island Time is anticipating a good Christmas this year based on all the UPS and FedEx deliveries with marine chandlery names on the labels.

Not to steal a thread, Heave, but I go for a New Years Day row every year. No sailing...boat's on the hard. Although I suspect we'll hear from those warm weather Compac-o-nauts who do go for a sail on Christmas day.
Bob23...still shopping!

Not Christmas day Bob23, but I had the best sail of the year exactly one week ago.  An unusual confluence whereby the wind was actually out of the WSW in the morning and clocking all day until it finished WNW.  Additionally, since the leaves have fallen the channeling effect on this North/South valley lake was somewhat diminished. So beam reach both ways with winds about 10-12.  50F and sunny.  Sailed about five miles up to Crows Neck landing, ate lunch nosed up to a beautiful high bank protected from the wind but in the sun, then back.  Wasted very little gas on this trip.

This will be a banner Christmas, all three sons and their families will be at our house, coming from Philadelphia, Seattle, and Nashville.

Merry Christmas to all!

Brack: That does sound like a great sail but it can't top when entire families get together. It's rare- enjoy it.

  A very Merry Christmas...

A Very Merry Christmas to everyone on the Com_Pac Yacht Owners Association Forum.

I've only been here a week or so, and everyone has been so friendly and helpful.

I will be the new owner of Dennis Marshall's Odd Duck, a 2007 SunCat early next week.

Hope your 2015 will bring you many awesome cruises aboard your Com-Pac Yachts.

Warmest Regards,
Ron Hoddinott

I'm no warm weather sailor but the water almost never gets hard here either.  I'm taking my Grandson out the day after Christmas, in the high 50's^F.

Merry Christmas to all!!
