Leaks?

I am planning on buying  a new Hoizon Day Cat.  I expect it to be pretty dry inside the cabin, but I have heard that there may be propensity for leaks around the ports.  Is this a common problem?

We had some leaks on Kailani's two forward ports. Compac re-did both ports and all was well. If you order one speak to Jerry about your concern so he can bird dog it. They aim to please. Anyhow, with the HDC you have half the number of potential leaks. LOL! Truth be told, in 50+ years of sailing I have NEVER had a boat that did not leak at some point. That being said Compac is about as good as any in that respect. Kailani is now a really dry boat......the bilge is dusty! Now if I had a Hinckley that leaked..............AARRGH!
