I've been doing some research with Garelick, and thought I'd share my findings in case anyone else is thinking about putting a 4-stroke behind their CP-16.

71033: If you have a 4 stroke, 2 to 6 h.p.,  60 lbs or less, you can use 71033.  The 71033 is marketed for a 2-stroke, however, it has a plate on the front giving it added strength.  Garelick has tested & approved the bracket to be used with a 4 stroke, 2 – 6 h.p. and 60 lbs or less.

If your motor is larger than listed above, you would need to go to either the 71093 & 71094 (these brackets are the same as the 71090 & 71091, with less spring to accommodate the lighter 4 strokes). The deciding factor is usually your vertical travel needed.  The 71093 is 9 ½" and the 71094 is 15 ½".  The 71093 weighs 20 lbs. and the 71094 weighs 32 lbs.
