We ordered and received a handbook  for our Legacy. There were no photos, dimensions, schematics, tips, or any written instructions about the care and maintenance of the Legacy. The only graphic appears to be a Compac 23'. They included a DVD that had the Youtube videos on them, but it went extremely fast, and jumped around with some text but no dialogue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmzKrXi2bIU

There was a page about "A word about wind, sea, and loading"; a page and a half on "Equipment required by the Coast Guard"; a couple pages on "Safe boating tips"; and one on "Safe tailoring". There was also a fill in the blanks page for "Purchaser  Registration" and the "Limited Boat Warranty". There was a comment, "For more information concerning trailer operations, maintenance and safety, consult the booklet "You and Your Trailer" that's provided in the Com-pac owner's kit (that we didn't get). Interesting that there was a copyright notice on the front cover from 1999-seven years before the 1st Legacy sailed... I expected more.

Yeah, I was a bit underwhelmed too. Started making my own manual but it will be specific to my boat and equipment.

When it's done I might be interested in purchasing a copy if I haven't figured out everything...or sunk the boat in the meantime.

The owner's manual for my CP-19 is not too informative. A little useful information here, a little there.

Believe it or not my buddy said he was ready to stick the mast up so we did.

When it came time to rig the sails the two halyards were mixed up. Yep. both were on the wrong side of the mast head pulleys.

So we lowered the mast at dock-side, on the water.

Switched the halyards from the dingy and pushed the mast back up.
