Lake Michigan Marina- Mid March.

The Hammond Marina - my summer home - this week.  Officially opens in April but I am thinking, 'maybe not this April'.  Lake Michigan is still 70% frozen over and you could shovel snow off the ice in the Marina.  I was in the office joking around with the staff about getting some skis and getting her out their anyway.  They have a No Ice rule - you can't launch if there is ANY ice in the Marina.  I think I have a long way to go.

And.. they are forecasting 4 to 8 inches of snow tonight again.

The itch to get out on the "water" is getting really strong.
