Hi everybody,
proud owner of a 25, the rara avis of the Com-Pac world. Presently shrouded in ice here in Glen Gardner NJ, but will sail Barnegat
Bay this season. Spent summers on the Bay sailing a variety of boats, then switched to lake sailing with a Precision 18 which will be up for sale shortly. Found impressive amount of good info here and perhaps I can contribute a little as well as learning a lot. Hope you will overlook my clumsiness about forum protocol as I am "unencumbered" by any useful knowledge about same.

Welcome to the forum and note the BB Bash under Group Outings to be held this summer.

Hi Ron and a double welcome from a fellow New Jerseyan and Compac owner! The finest state in the Union and the finest sailboats made....in my humble opinion! I aslo sail Barnegat Bay and keep my 1985 23/2 moored in a cove in Surf City. I make regular little trips to Tice's Shoals, the scene of the Barnegat Bay Bash of which TMorgan wrote. We'd love to have you attend.
Yep, the 25's are a bit on the rare side but a very interesting boat. Trailerable with standing headroom, you guys have it all. Looking forward to your posts.

Ron,

Welcome aboard - glad to have you join us.

Looking forward to your participation in the various Forum Categories.

Was able to inspect a local friend's 25 up close and personal a while back, and believe you've got a winner!

Now here is a man I can understand! Welcome to our madness. I'm not sure if you appreciate how lucky you are being from NJ. Bob23 seems to give a major membership break to his home state citizens that others don't enjoy. Lucky you and enjoy your stay.
