Has anyone installed cockpit controls for an outboard on a CP23?  If so how and what.
I'm getting a little tired of hanging off the stern to shift gears.
Thanks

I thought about it and discovered that the cost for a Honda 8 hp 4 stroke was on the order of $180. I don't recall if that included installation.  This may differ in other locales, mine having been Bayboro, NC (Pamlico County) at a Honda dealer.

I put a plastic pipe of appropriate diameter on the shift level which brought it up where I could shift without hanging over the stern. The pipe slides on and is removable when tilting the motor.

I had a Powertiller (powertiller.com)set-up on my Suncat. Worked like a dream!  :) Throttle and shifter are mounted on the tiller and are very convenient to use especially when maneuvering in close quarters. Not cheap but an outstanding product!
