I would like to wish members and their families all the best for a happy and safe Christmas. We are expecting temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees F) on Christmas Day, so as we sit down for our traditional hot Christmas dinner, (it is stupid, but some traditions have to be followed anyway), I will be thinking of you northern hemisphere dwellers and picturing some of you enjoying a white Christmas, something we only see on Christmas cards.
So, best wishes for Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year to all.

We had 79 degrees in Raleigh, NC yesterday, and I was joking about it being Australia weather; not quite, eh. Anyway, Merry xmas to you and to all the folks on the forum and their families.

Merry Christmas to you too, Pete, and to all our sailing brethren Down Under. Not much of a white one here in North Carolina either; yesterday it was 79 degrees F (26 C).

Much to be thankful for as 2013 ends, including for me the adoption of my CP 27 project boat which I hope to splash and sail before 2014 is gone, and my 3rd anniversary as a member of this forum. The statistics tell me I've now wasted happily spent 12 days and 18 hours of my life here.

Ho, ho, ho!

Merry Christmas to all from Wisconsin, USA where it is 16F and the water is "hard".

Merry Christmas to all from Tupelo, MS where it will not be white, but it will be cold for Christmas with temps predicted from the high twenties to the low forties.  The water is not hard, however, and the ten day forecast shows Sunday may actually be a decent sailing day.  8)  If I go, pretty sure I will have Bay Springs Lake to myself. :)

Not quite 104* F, but still a respectable 85*+ yesterday in SW Florida.

Merry Christmas to all, and best wishes to our members "Down Under".

Merry Christmas "ya'll" from Brenda and Mike.  We are visiting our condo and soon to be home in Orange Beach, AL.  Madison, WI is currently at 10 below with lots of fresh snow on the ground.  Can't say we are sorry to be missing it.  Anyone want to stop by our house and shovel about 1000' of driveway before we head home?

Happy holidays to all.

Koinoina, the Admiral and I would like to wish all the Compac-o-nauts out there a wonderful and blessed Christmas and a new year filled with fair winds and placid seas. May your masts always point up and your waterlines always remain on the outside!
