well sailing is over in this part of the country (illinois). with thanksgiving behind us and the guests out of the house, i took the time to do a thorough clean up of the cp16. it always amazes me how much stuff accumulates in that little cabin. why would two people need 5 swim noodles. three flashlights, 6 lifejackets, four floating cushions, tools galore and more lengths of rope than is needed to put up a circus tent. hey there is some room down there after all. anyway she is cleaned and polished in and out and parked in her cozy part of the garage awaiting the first snowfall (tomorrow night i think). one thing i did do before she entered her winter cocoon was to pull her out in the driveway, step the mast, bend on the sails and take some pictures. dont ask me why

Not here!! ;D  I just stopped in here after checking the hourly weather.  75 with winds 12-16 out of the South.  On my way out the door for an afternoon sail.  Starting tomorrow, very wet and then very cold for the next ten days so got to get this one in while I can. ;D ;D

Hi kick,
sunday was the day for me..  I spent 7 hours on the road  and only  an hour and a half actually at the marina, putting on the tarps..  but, i was blessed with great weather, so the job went pretty smoothly..   now for the days to settle in by the stove and dream about  the cruising days ahead!   ( and maybe order a few items here and there that are absolute essentials for the boat  :)   )   jt
