Rain, rain, go away. I have to work on my boat today

it's my weekend and i don't have to travel anywhere, help someone else with their workload, or complete some unforeseen repair!

i'm working on the boat today! ;D

placed the refinished teak back into the bow sprit.

raised the mast for the 1st time this year.

tried out the vhf

began installing the boom kicker, but the rains were coming in, so i stopped work on the boat to mow the lawn and the storm hit just as i was finishing the front.  :-[

went in to wash up for lunch and noticed the new faucet leaking. :(

so let's see, in the past 3 weeks; the mower's self propel went out, the leaf blower quit, the blue ray player refused to do anything, and now the month old kitchen faucet is leaking.

i'm seriously thinking of selling everything and moving onto the 19 permanently! ;D

now, how to convince the wife...

yes it's green this year, but it literally grows 1/2 to 3/4" in 24 hours!

friends keep their boat on the illinios river, and they haven't been able to use it because of the high water and debris floating.

our lake has been no wake for 90% of the year.  not that i mind power boaters having to move at idles speed  :D

the fields were all but burnt up this time last year, now they're flooded.
