Incomplete Profiles

The CPYOA is a great forum.  The stories everyone tells and the helpful hints and suggestions are super!  So often references are made to local waters or marinas - or the weather and water depths.  When one clicks on the sender's name to see their profile, rarely is the location provided.  It is disappointing to have gotten so close to the story and the person and yet remain so far away.

I want to encourage members to provide some indication of your location in your profile.  Your city and state would be great.  Or maybe your cruising grounds (and state) would do.  Please consider it anyway?

I agree. I too have checked to see where someone is from and only been disappointed. Especially in the classifieds.

I think providing location in your profile should be mandatory.

Interesting idea...made me think if I'd posted my location. I did, but I updated it with more detail.

Very good idea.
It is much better to have an idea of where everyone is from!
