I found them in a DO IT BEST hardware store in Fort Wayne. The hardware stores that have the big nut, bolt, specialty connectors for DIY projects in the metal  cabinets with drawers and multiple sizes inside seem to have them. I have noticed recently in the big box stores that small repair parts and supplies are getting skimpy around here. My overworked mind thinks that manufactures who will stock new items for 90 days or more before billing want to be paid COD for small parts and repair items. To hard to inventory on any delayed billing, as well as sticky fingers. Mike

I got plastic bushings for my 19 at Ace Hardware. Had to slightly widen the hole in the gudgeons using a drill. Forget the diameter bit I used but very minimal increase in size. Then I pushed the new bushing in with light hammer taps. Replaced the bolts that went through the bushings with clevis pins.

I found bronze bushings for my Oarmaster One at Lowe's. I believe they have the correct bushings for our Compac gudgeons. I think Skip got 'em at Ace Hardware.

There shoulder bushings too from Ace Hardware, right? Insert these bushings shoulder to shoulder, you'll need four bushings, four flat washers, a s.s. bolt and a nyloc nut.
Plus a 1/2 drill bit with the shank of the bit turned down for a 3/8 inch chuck.
Use a 3/8 inch drill motor because that will cuttle up to the transom for the best possible straight shot through the bore.
Drill one at a time. You may find that the factory had placed in the bore a plastic insert, It'll just drill out along with the aluminum.
Hint: A 1/2 inch drill motor typically is too large in diameter and will force the bit through the bore at a unwanted angle.
The assembly was assembled with copious amounts of Permatex Neversleaze.

These bushings in the picture are ONLY 3/4 inch long. Couldn't find longer ones. But they work just fine.

The aluminum pieces shown below have been washed with an industrial conversion coat for aluminum and powder coated Hammer Tone Grey after being de~gassed and cooled in an oven..
