Bought this 1980 CP 16 for $225. Had been sitting since 2005. Super dirty, inside trashed, wood inside rotten, sails not good, no motor, on nonstandard trailer. Have some before and after pics of initial cleaning. I am an experienced sailor but have not had a boat for 20 years (got into the powerboating thing). Back to my roots to restore this boat and have some fun with my sons. The "nomad" has been laid to rest. I will post updates as I progress.
I am looking for a used set of sails (especially a main) and bow rail.

Any suggestions on getting pics to show on post please tell me how

Welcome to the forum. I love the name you've given to the boat. Good luck on the restoration!

To post pics from photo bucket, go to your picture in photobucket.

Below and to the right, below the advertising is a "Image Links" grayed out area. Click it to open.
Then down you'll see a box gray box with "IMG" code. Click it, it will copy the link with the IMG code contained.

Then just paste it in a post.   Like this, I'm all I did was open your album, open a pic, click on image links, click on the IMG code, then paste right here.

Wow, it may be dirtier than when I started on mine!!!  I spent last spring and summer cleaning up my CP16 which looked a lot like yours:

I forgot to say welcome to the site!  Lots of helpful and knowledgable folks here.

It looks like it is made out of granite......
I have an old bow rail from my 19. Don't know if it will fit though.

Where are you located?

Thanks guys for the welcome. I have looked around the site and there is a wealth of great info. I am in the Mobile, Al area.

I do have a question about my metal rudder. There is a line of pitting from corrosion at the waterline from a time it was kept in the water. It is not too bad but is there any history of these breaking at an area that is pitted?

One of the nice things about C 16s is that the decks are not cored with wood that can rod.

Instead, they have resin and filler which will not rot.

That means your deck will be sound even after years of neglect.
