A very happy Easter to all you Compac-o-nauts out there! As usual, we go to a Sunrise service on the beach in Ship Bottom, NJ. Something about being on the beach and watching a sunrise always awes me. Going to church on the beach is even better. I'll post photos if Photobucket would just behave.

Happy Easter to you too, Bob.  And all others here.

Today marked the annual Retrieve The Boat From Winter Storage Day. Happy day indeed.

Happy Easter to you all, as well! I spent the afternoon at Lake Whippoorwill and took folks out on my '19 for a couple of hours. What a great day to celebrate a great day. Winds were pretty squirrelly on the lake but we managed fine.

I haven't heard how Island Heights made out during Sandy although I'm only about 25 minutes away. When I had a county job about 38 years ago, my boss lived there. I think it's one of the areas best kept secrets. Along with Ocean Gate.
