just came in from cleaning off subdivision driveways of the 6 inches of snow we got yesterday. that 36 year old case lawn tractor still does the trick.  but come on, i think we sailed the 16 last year before easter. its enough to make me go back to work. for those of you sailing in the south----fairwinds  cabin fever victim

I'm farther north than you (MN), but I got the boat in on April 8th last year. It will be considerably later this year....cabin fever is taking it's toll on me too.

Hey guys, don't complain about the snow yet.  We are in the Colorado Rockies this week skiing and we're loving this spring snow. ;D

Here in the south of NJ, we again got gyped out of winter. A few dustings and one 4 inch dump of the white stuff. My cross country skiis are getting dusty and rusty. If it's not gonna be warm, give me some snow. But, alas, it's not looking good for this winter. Of course it's good for us guys that work outside.

Great weather today in NorCal. Sailed Wiskeytown Lake in steady 8-10 mph winds. Our 16 did well with no issues, got the boat to 6.2 knots at one point!

Today is Tuesday and one year ago last Sunday the temperature in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin was 80 degrees and I was back working my seasonal job on 19-March-2012.

Not this year. We had snow showers yesterday, still have 30 inched of snow in the yard down form about 40 inches.
And it's a balmy grey windy 31 degrees F. Oh the joy.
But the plants are starting to peak out of the fringe area by the driveway where the snow was pushed back.

The storage building where the boat and 'A' are is still snowed in.

The earliest I ever had the boat in the water was 18-April-2007. So much for non-existent Global Warming.
I hope we fill up the Lakes so I can take the wheels off the bottom of my boat!
