Hello. My name is Ever. I have been lurking about the last few days and wanted to introduce myself and say, "Hello." I am 42 and relatively new to sailing. The boat, Rose of Cape Fear is my Dad's and he is an old hand having been a sailing instructor for years - so I have a good teacher, right? Rose is a 1984 Com-Pac 23/II
We are looking forward to having her in the water again next month.

I'll post some pics as soon as I have the opportunity to figure that out.  ;D

Nice to meet you all! Great forum!

Yes, named for the Confederate spy who drowned off shore. She is buried here in Wilimington.

Hi outlaw:
And welcome. I have an uncle in Wilmington, NC. He's the old guy you'll see at the beach almost every morning. Looking forward to hear of your adventures. Your dad has excellent tastes in boats.
