My post/day have slipped significantly because Admiral Sheri decided we would walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela across northern Spain.  It was her wish to do it in her 65th year so here we are.  Actually just finished all 500 miles with a backpack I'm considering burning. We are in Finisterre (the end of the earth)trying to figure out how that smooth talking Chris Columbus talked Queen Isabella into funding his boondoggle.  interesting trek, more later.  On topic, lots of nice sailboats here.

Congratulations!  Doing the Camino has been one of my goals for years, but I haven't done it yet.  I've seen bits and pieces of it (Puente La Reina, Santiago) on previous trips, but I'm hoping to do it with my sons in the next few years.  We'll have to bike it, because I can't take a month off at this point.  It would be great to see some pics of the trip.  Do you have a website?

Sedona Don

My wife and I are scheduled to do part of the Camino next June.

No web site currently, but working on our 250 picture files and will in time put them up for public access, will let you know when.

Great Don, answered your private message, will get back with you later about the process.  The first people we met in St. Jean Pied de Port was a couple from Calgary who winter in Arizona.  He is 70 she is 65.  We started on the same day they started, bumped into each other all along the way, sometimes they were ahead of us a day or so, sometimes we were ahead.  We came into the Cathedral square in Santiago within twenty minutes of each other.  If they are close (in Arizona), I'm sure they would be glad to discuss the process with you in person.  PM me with your location and I'll check with Bob and Hilda about where they will be.
