Hi Folks, I feel certain this will seem very silly and simple to the group, but being brand new to this adventure I am having a tough time setting up the sails properly on my new to me cp-16.I have the cp owners manual but it isn't much help. Is there a detailed picture or drawing that can show me how to rigg up all the different lines and sails etc. It is a 1988 cp-16. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Victor

Other than the Owner's Manual, I don't recall any drawings that show all the lines and fittings.  Maybe you can post a picture of the part(s) that you are unsure of and we'll be able to tell you how it hooks up.

Do you have a furler on the headsail?
Does the mainsail have a rope sewn into the foot or is there just a slide/slug at the end?

Hello Victor,

I have my 16 in the driveway at the moment and could take some pics that may perhaps help you.  Are you looking for help with the mainsheet?  Rigging at the top of the mast?

I will help how I can.

Thanks Mike & Saluki for your most generous offer of  help. I have found a local guy who was able to help me out and get me on the right tack....... Victor
