And I was expecting it to be another thread about it being too cold already....  Your photo reminds me of the Bay of Fundy in Canada.  They have the largest tidal drop in the world, and the fishing fleet can only come and go at high tide.  When the tide goes out it leaves boats sitting in the mud just like yours.  I hope you guys get some rain soon!
