Man that is a good looking 16. Hold on a minute..... That's me. Ha Ha . I did not even realise it when I first saw this post. To funny. Nice pic though.
Last weekend was my first outing in the CP16 since being purchased. I have just been working on this summer. Enough work now its time to play.

My friend and I were in his blue Peep Hen and passed you on the East side of the bridge. Great day!! Are you in a slip or did you trailer in? My friend has a c16 that he is going to sell me (he just doesn't know it yet)!

I trailered it up for the weekend. We rented a place and had a great time. Had a scare on the first time out with the new motor. Friday afternoon we came in to the dock for the day. As we approached the dock I shifted the motor in neutral to coast up along side of it. Noticed that we really were not slowing down any so I shifted into reverse and gave it a little throttle to come to a stop. As I did this we sped forward again right toward the shore and some large boulders. Holy s*#$@ what is going on I thought in a panic. Heard the prop graze a boulder and kicked it up oh so fast as I killed the motor. As we were now in very shallow water and right over more of the large boulders. Started to turn hard to get back out when I heard the foil rudder bump a couple of times. Pulled it up and started the motor with the prop kicked up barely in the water. Finally made the full circle and back to the dock. It was defiantly time for a cold one...

After checking out the motor I found out that all I had was forward. No reverse or NEUTRAL. I cranked it at the dock at the boat would try to take off. So I dropped it off at a local dealer when I got back home. I was able to pick it up Saturday and they said that the pin had came out of the linkage in the bottom of the foot. And that pin must have been pushed on but did not lock in. I think I will name my boat LUCKY
