can anyone explain why i am unable to load a photo for my profile......doesn't seem that there is anywhere to seek help?

The AVATAR photo [and it's limited in size] you want must be loaded in Photobuck or something equal and have a HTTP...start.
Mouse over to your name on the lefthand side of any of YOUR posts.
Click your name.
On the profile Information page find
"Profile Forum Information"
Click on "I have my own pic." It may be in this forum-->>The actual code for the my AVATAR is this.

Hope this helps. The pic is me motoring over to the take-out ramp in November for the winter. Always a sad day in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

You have to link the picture to an external site..There are good instructions on the Forum page for using a pre-setup photobucket account, and for posting pictures.  First upload to photobucket then paste the http: code of your picture into your profile.
