Hey:
In the currrent issue of Good Old Boat Magazine, on page 7 is a great article on the Havasu Pocket Cruisers Convention in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Like any good sailboat nut, I read, re-read and re-re-read all of the aritcles in the 3 magazines I subscribe to. Upon my 5th read, I couldn't help notice a Compac 19, sail number 227 in the accompanying photo.  Is that anyone here?

Not here, not my number 588. Wouldn't that be a 'racing' sail for that boat? An early hull to-boot.

Here is another story. Hold down the control key and click + to enlarge print for tired eyes.

Don't know why it would be a racing sail. My original 23 sails had numbers. Did you check out the article? Maybe you can view it online.

No I did not look for the article or try check it out. Our Penquin and Star had the hull #'s on the sail I thought strictly for racing purposes.  I have never noticed any numbers on a Com-Pac Sail. My mistake.
