Evening folks.  My admiral bought me a Windex and I'm looking to install it before spring gets here.  By my reckoning, it will need to be installed on the side of the mast similar to where I've located it in the pictures.  Has anyone else installed a Windex on their CP-16 mast and how did it go?  I just figured I'd get some second opinions before I drilled two holes in my mast.

Looks like a plan to me. I used self tapping tec screws fitted with rubber backed steel washers for the VHS/FM/AM antenna. You could use the same scrfews for the windy thing.

Be mindful that the length of the self tappers may be long enough to allow the halyards to touch the screw or the screw may hit the pulley. Mind the radius.

skip.

When I installed my windex I made a bracket that bolted to the top cap. I replaced the sheaves and used a 1/4 bolt insted of putting the pins back in that attach the bracket .The windex is about 8 inches aft of the mast and very easy to see from below . Ive tried to add pics to this of my mast top to this post and if your interested in a pic send me a email .
