From one East Coast turkey, let me be the first to wish everyone a very Happy and thankful Thanksgiving. I was listening to a radio show just yesterday about giving thanks and I realized I need to be reminded of that regularly. Maybe we all do. From having all the basic luxuries to being able to enjoy some really extravagant things (like Compacs) we have it pretty good here in the US.
I, for one, am thankful for clean, running water. Sure, I usually take it for granted but to alot of the world, this most basic need for life is a luxury.
I am also thankful to have my 23. Sometimes, I stand back and look at her and say, "What on earth do you see in a looser like me?" She usually replies, "Don't ask...just enjoy!"
   Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Bob.  Thanks for sharing your sailing insights and wonderful, wacky sense of humor with us.

I am listening to the happy sounds of my lovely wife and my mother chatting in the kitchen while they begin the preparations for the meal.  The Thanksgiving Day Parade playing on the television while I sip a mug of coffee knowing that our kids are home for the weekend to celebrate with us.

We are wishing a happy and safe holiday enjoying family and friends to all the fine members of this site.

Mike,

A lovely bunch of turkeys.

Bob,

A least your boat talks to you.  Mine uses hand signals only.

Happy Thanksgiving!
