Take note:  If you just recently applied to become a member, and have not ever logged on since you requested a membership, then your member name was deleted from our rolls.

Don't despair, the criteria for deletion was never having been logged on and you may re-apply any time. FYI: Over 120 "members" had never logged on.

Thanks for your patience.

Hey Tim
How long does it take to approve a new member?  I've two people who have been waiting for quite a while.  Geoff Kohl  has just purchased a CP 23 and needs info from this board.  Can you facilitate his request for membership?

Thanks for your work

Hi  Bob,

We review membership requests daily in most cases, might take 2 or 3 days depending on how busy we are at any given time.

Geoff's membership was reviewed and approved on May 5.  He should of received an email at that time to activate his account.
Have him look in his email from May 5 (spam folder too) and follow the activations instructions sent by the CPYOA Forum.  That should take care of him.

If he did not receive this, or is confused about the instructions, he can email me at mcarpent at columbus dot rr dot com and I'll activate him manually.

Private message me the other guys' email address and I'll look into status for him too.

If a person registers and doesn't activate their account after a modertor approves their registration, they will not be able to get in.  This is for security purposes.  If they don't activate for about a month, we delete their registration request, and they would have to sign up again.

I'll bet you a bowsprit he just didn't see the email, or more likely, some sort of spam filter blocked it.  This occurs when folks use their business email adress to register--many companies block spam-like emails and the end user might never see it.  But I can assure you the emails get sent out.
