Sailboat-friendly marina in Northern NJ?

Hi, all,

I would like to get the new-to-me CP-16 into water at least once before the end of this season, to assure it is seaworthy and to see what may need to be done. This coming Columbus Day weekend looks nice and I'd like to try a launch.

I live near Greenwood Lake and visited all nearby marinas. The big sailing marina here is members-only, no day launches. Other ones do not allow sailboats or only on weekdays.  I found one that would take me, but their ramp is just a concrete "tunnel", no dock alongside - I am weary of launching there on a first outing, especially single-handed.

Any members here that know the general area and could recommend a place? How about Lake Hopatcong? - that is only about one hour from my house. Can anyone recommend a sailboat-friendly marina on Hopatcong or anywhere else in the vicinity?

I am looking for a place that has a ramp with a courtesy dock alongside, to allow me to guide the boat away and back to trailer by myself. Easy trailer parking is a plus... I'll be stressed as it is, manhandling this boat for the first time and, to that, unaided.

Thanks in advance!  Robert.
